Sweat and moisture resistant, powder makeup is super popular in the theatrical makeup industry and now this amazing makeup medium is catching on in the face and body art industry! Powder makeup comes in a few forms including pressed powders, which come firmly packed into a container, making them easy to transport, use, and store. Pressed powders include Mehron’s Starblends and Elisa Griffiths Pro Powers. Powders are also available loose(pigment poured loosely into a container) which allows for high color pay-off and ease of access for larger tools. Loose powder products available are the Art Factory Pearl Powders.
Face and body powders can be applied directly with a brush, or lollipop applicator to the skin, over face and body paint, on top of skin safe glue, or as a highlight for fresh henna paste designs.
All of the powder makeup lines that Art Factory carries are FDA compliant and easily removed with soap and water.
