Full Face Lion Face Paint Tutorial | Lion Face Painting Design for Kids & Face Painters

Join Ashley Pickin from The Art Factory as she shares her favorite way to create a full face lion face paint design in this step-by-step face painting tutorial!

A lion is a classic and popular face painting choice for kids who want to transform into a strong, brave, and wild animal. This full-face lion design is perfect for birthday parties, festivals, school events, Halloween, and any occasion where children want to become their favorite animal.

In this tutorial, Ashley demonstrates how to create a fun and expressive lion face paint design using brush techniques, shapes, and details that bring the character to life. Whether you are a beginner face painter looking for easy animal face paint ideas or a professional artist wanting to add a new design to your menu, this lion tutorial provides inspiration and techniques you can use at your next event.

For this video, Ashley used a #4 and #3 round Art Factory face paint brush, but you can use whichever round brush size you feel most comfortable with. Round brushes are excellent for creating details, outlines, facial features, and precise line work in face painting designs.

Enjoy the design options, and let us know in the comments if you have any questions or ideas for future face painting tutorials!
