Face and Body Powders are a versatile alternative to traditional water-based face paints, offering artists a makeup medium that is sweat-resistant, moisture-resistant, and long-lasting. While powder makeup has been a favorite in the theatrical makeup industry for years, it is quickly becoming a must-have for face painters and body artists looking for vibrant color, durability, and easy application. At the Art Factory, we are proud to carry some of the best professional powder makeups so you can experience the benefits of this incredible product line.
Powder makeup is available in two main forms. Pressed powders—such as Mehron’s Starblends and Elisa Griffith’s Pro Powders—are firmly packed into a container, making them portable, easy to store, and convenient for on-the-go artists. Loose powders, like the Art Factory Pearl Powders, deliver intense color payoff and work beautifully with larger brushes or specialty tools.
Application is simple and flexible: powders can be brushed directly onto the skin, applied over traditional face and body paint, dusted onto skin-safe adhesive for glitter-style effects, or even used to highlight fresh henna paste designs. All powders carried by the Art Factory are FDA-compliant, safe for skin, and wash off easily with soap and water.
