Diamond FX (or DFX) is a hydro face paint makeup company in the Netherlands and Art Factory is happy to bring this amazing line of face paints to the United States. With a wide range of vibrant and pigmented colors, Diamond FX is one of the most popular brands amongst face painters, world wide. Art Factory offers Diamond FX in solid color cakes, one strokes, rainbow cakes, and in compact easy to carry palettes.
Aqua-based, Diamond FX is easily activated with just water and allows for a range of effects depending on the amount of water added. Create a striking opaque look by adding a minimal amount of water, or a soft/sheer watercolor look by adding more water. Because of its wax based formula, Diamond FX is great for layering colors, making it an ideal face paint for outlines and multidimensional looks. From tigers and butterflies to zombie and cosplay characters, Diamond FX is a great face paint choice for artists.
Art Factory carries the Essential line (basic solid colors,) the Metallic line(shimmer colors,) and the Neon line(super bright neon colors that glow under UV blacklight.) We also carry the Diamond FX one stroke and rainbow cakes. These multi-color face paint cakes are perfect for creating one stroke designs and for quickly applying multiple colors to designs.
Application of Diamond FX is simple: using a face paint sponge or brush, add a small amount of water and stroke the paint cake. Once you reach an inky consistency, you’ll be able to easily draw details and outlines. Once you’ve reached a lathered, almost creamy consistency you’ll be able to easily lay down bright, opaque base color for face paint designs. To apply Diamond FX over a face paint stencil, continue working the makeup with your sponge until you get a tacky, almost sticky consistency. This will allow you to pounce the face paint over the stencil without excess water blurring the design. Art Factory carries a full range of face paint brushes and sponges that are sure to give you great results!
Diamond FX face paint is easily removed with just soap and water.
